Pioneer Athletics is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Northern Virginia region. This role involves visiting professional teams, colleges and schools, and managing a defined sales territory from a home office and on the road within your territory.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Athletics Sales Representative in the southern half of Virginia.

As an Athletic Territory Representative for Pioneer Athletics, you will:

• Work with Professional Sports Teams, College & High School Athletic Departments as a member of the #1 Resource for Professionals in the Sports Turf and Athletic Field Maintenance Industry.
• Work with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Trainers, and Sports Stadium Managers, Groundskeepers & Sports Turf Managers, Parks & Recreation Directors, and Building and Grounds Maintenance Supervisors as the make important decisions regarding their Athletic Fields and Athletic Facilities.
• Work closely with our Sales Management Team in a professional, structured, and disciplined consultative sales training & product training program.
• Work closely with a mentor and a Professional Sales & Product Training Staff in a stable, personalized, and structured environment.

Position Requirements:

*Field Sales Experience, which must include new account development, account maintenance, and travel within a specific geographical territory, and experience in the sports turf industry or athletic sales.

This candidate will inherit our already profitable & protected accounts.

This territory is eligible for quarterly and annual bonus dollars, as well as additional county expansion in the future.

A realistic 1st year income is $100K. Most of our sales representatives earn significantly more after completing our 2-year training program.

To qualify for this position, you must have lived in the Northern Virginia market for at least one (1) year. Preferred candidates:

• are willing to travel the Northern Virginia, DC, and Western Maryland territory everyday to visit with customers;
• will have a working knowledge of a CRM or a similar type of customer database recording system;
• will have some experience in the sports turf or turf industry;
• will have at least one (1) year experience in outside sales.
