Job summary

Cintas is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in California to grow our territory by prospecting, developing, and qualifying leads. You will use CRM to close new business, consistently hitting weekly goals while benefiting from the company’s training program and a comprehensive car package.

The role emphasizes in-person sales, product demonstrations, negotiations, and strong customer focus, with opportunities for recognition and career advancement within a Fortune 500 environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), intranet/internet and CMS
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Prior sales experience (1 year+), preferably in a similar role
• Prior new business‑to‑business (B2B) sales experience

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and qualify leads within territory.
• Utilize CRM to identify, prospect, close new business and consistently achieve weekly sales goals and quotas.
• Apply learnings from the Cintas Sales Training Program including cold-calling, in-person sales, product demonstrations, negotiations, objection handling, and closing.
