Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Coralville, IA to develop new business and nurture relationships across the Des Moines market. You’ll work with an inside team on prospecting, appointments, proposals, cold calling, networking, and closing new business within a 40-mile territory.

The role offers a base salary of $40,000–$50,000 with uncapped commission; 1st-year OTE of $60,000–$70,000 and 2nd-year OTE of $80,000–$100,000.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Self-motivated with good time-management and ability to work independently.
• Outside sales or business development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Conduct sales appointments and present proposals to prospective clients.
• Generate opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
• Follow up with prospects and move opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Partner with inside sales to identify and develop leads.
• Aim for ongoing sales and revenue growth.
