Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager for multi-family housing accounts in California. You will sell MRO supplies and related products to an established portfolio, aiming to meet and exceed yearly sales goals.

Responsibilities include developing relationships with key decision makers, prospecting new accounts, and expanding opportunities across facilities maintenance segments. Travel is required, with occasional overnights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years B2B field sales experience.
• Direct sales to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance customers is a plus.
• Expert rapport building abilities.
• Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce, or similar CRM.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales with an existing portfolio of customers.
• Prospect new accounts and retain existing accounts.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers across organizations.
• Travel as required (overnight travel <10%).
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
