Job summary

DXP is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our industrial pumps, water treatment, and process instrumentation business within an assigned territory in Fresno, California.

You will develop new business, expand existing customer relationships, and provide technical solutions for industrial water systems, working with end users, OEMs, contractors, and distributors.

This field-based role requires a consultative approach, strong communication, and a track record of meeting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience required.
• Knowledge of industrial water treatment systems and equipment required.
• Experience selling water treatment chemicals, treatment programs, or related services

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound appointment-setting calls when working remotely or in the office.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, applications, and technical solutions.
• Prepare customer quotations, proposals, and solution recommendations.
• Work closely with inside sales and operations teams to develop and close opportunities.
• Maintain customer and prospect records within CRM systems.
• Follow up on leads and provide ongoing customer support.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and product recommendations.
