Job summary

Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group is seeking a Loan Originator - Outside Sales in Sarasota, FL to guide clients through the mortgage process and grow our lender network.

The role emphasizes accurate file management, timely communication, and compliance, with a focus on service quality and helping families achieve homeownership. You will collaborate with loan officers, processors, and underwriters, review disclosures, lock loans, and maintain knowledge of guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of mortgage lending experience required.
• Prior Production Loan Partner experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in finance, accounting or mathematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide borrowers through the loan application process and provide responsive support.
• Take complete loan applications and collect initial documentation.
• Run credit reports, pricing, and DU findings.
• Provide current loan rate information and disclose required documents.
• Lock loans and coordinate with processing, underwriters, and loan officers.
