Job summary

Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group, Corporation in Sarasota, FL seeks an experienced Loan Originator - Outside Sales to support clients and coordinate with lenders throughout the mortgage process. You will guide borrowers, collect documents, run credit and pricing, and provide timely updates to realtors and referral partners.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of mortgage lending experience, knowledge of Encompass, and strong communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of mortgage lending experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience as a Production Loan Partner preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of mortgage products, loan programs, and loan types.
• Demonstrated ability to manage approximately 30–60 active loan applications per month.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide borrowers through the loan application process and provide responsive support.
• Take complete loan applications and collect required documentation.
• Run credit reports, loan pricing, and DU findings.
• Explain loan terms, policies, and product options clearly.
• Provide timely loan status updates to realtors and referral partners.
• Review loan files for completeness before submission to processing.
