Job summary

Hayward Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales Representative focused on kitchen and bath cabinetry design. The role blends customer relationship building with design work, creating quotes, and advising on materials, pricing, and applications.

Expect frequent site visits, accurate progress tracking, and timely delivery coordination to meet sales targets. Candidates should know the lumber industry and local codes, with strong communication, negotiation, and multi-project management skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years inside sales, design and/or showroom experience.
• 2020 design software experience is a plus.
• Understanding of remodeling and local building codes is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create custom designs for customers using 2020 Cabinet Design Software.
• Maintain accurate sales quotes and order pipeline in BisTrack.
• Identify and develop sales leads; follow up to close sales.
• Present cabinet options and features to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Document customer activity and update pipeline weekly.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings.
