About This Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Director of Partnerships passionate about literacy to partner with school districts and accelerate reading achievement. This is a full-time remote sales role responsible for developing your territory, growing your pipeline, and onboarding new customers by understanding their literacy needs. Candidates should reside in Oregon, Washington, or Nevada, and have experience selling to school districts in these states.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with district leaders by understanding their early literacy needs and employing a consultative sales approach.
  • Develop your territory and maintain a healthy pipeline through relationships with regional organizations, attending local conferences, and understanding regional initiatives, funding, and legislation.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for Classroom Libraries and Take-Home Decodable Packs.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (e.g., Hubspot).
  • Occasional travel for conferences and district meetings is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in K-12 education.
  • 3+ years of experience as a principal or district leader familiar with schools and districts.
  • Ownership mentality with high organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Willingness to collaborate and share learnings to improve team effectiveness.
  • Deep empathy for educators and a passion for early literacy; prior teaching or district leadership experience is strongly preferred.
