About This Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Director of Partnerships passionate about literacy and eager to partner with school districts to accelerate reading achievement. This full-time remote sales role involves developing your territory, growing your pipeline, and onboarding new customers by understanding how Just Right Reader can meet their literacy needs. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas selling to districts and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Candidates should reside in Maryland, Pennsylvania, or Delaware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with district leaders by understanding their early literacy needs and employing a consultative sales approach.
  • Develop your territory and maintain a healthy pipeline through regional relationships, attending conferences, and understanding regional initiatives, funding, and legislation.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for Classroom Libraries and Take-Home Decodable Packs.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (e.g., Hubspot).
  • Occasional travel for conferences and district meetings required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience as a principal or district leader familiar with school operations and district collaborations.
  • Ownership mentality with high organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excitement for working in a fast-growing organization.
  • Willingness to share learnings and collaborate to improve team effectiveness.
  • Deep empathy for educators and a passion for early literacy; prior teaching or district leadership experience strongly preferred.
