Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Coordinator to support its outside sales team by placing and coordinating product orders and delivering superior customer service. This full-time hourly role involves flexible hours, with wage commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will handle inquiries on pricing, availability, and delivery, coordinate quotes, and ensure timely shipping. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, concepts and the ability to influence and persuade.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely support to the outside sales team and customers.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and questions on pricing, availability, delivery, backorders, specs, returns and orders.
• Monitor shipping dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
• Take customer and contractor issues and delegate handling; assist in resolving per guidelines.
• Create and provide quotes and estimates from salesperson to customers and contractors.
• Order products for contractors and vendors.
• Assist Outside Sales Representatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
