Job summary

Sysco Charlotte, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking an outside sales professional to promote Sysco's products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The main focus is to help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals, with some non-traditional hours.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of related experience, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED with 3 years restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Bi-lingual preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Research customer business needs and propose a mix of products and services.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business goals.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary with credit dept.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in ongoing training.
• Assist training of new employees as requested.
• Review daily/weekly reports and prepare sales budgets and quotes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline

HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
