Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Greensboro, NC seeks an experienced outside sales professional to promote our culinary products and services and to build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role focuses on growing sales while helping customers succeed, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Based in a field-based role, you will travel to customer sites, conduct product trainings, and participate in district meetings. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, or equivalent relatable experience.
• 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or completion of Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within assigned territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develops a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
• Present product information and provide practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings.
• Coordinate deliveries per routing schedule and troubleshoot order issues.
• Attend district meetings and participate in ongoing sales training.
