Job summary

Sysco Boston, LLC is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our outside sales team. You will develop new business, nurture relationships with accounts, and drive sales growth within the Massachusetts territory.

The role requires traveling to customer locations up to 75% and working non-traditional hours. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills supporting our customers and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field, or 3 years relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting required limits.
• Ability to read, write, speak English; basic PC skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and drive profitable sales growth within the territory.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product/service solutions.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel; respond to questions on prices and availability.
• Manage orders and coordinate deliveries; work with credit to collect balances due.
