Job summary

I Supply Company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Midwest. This full-time role offers a base salary with commission and a benefits package.

The candidate will drive growth by expanding the customer base and maintaining strong relationships with end users of disposable products and cleaning supplies. The successful candidate will travel within the defined territory, present products, provide quotes, and work with team members to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years outside sales experience.
• Must have a personally-owned vehicle, clean MVR, and required insurance coverage.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow up with customers.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between company and customers, presenting and selling disposable products and cleaning items within a defined territory.
• Develop new accounts and penetrate existing accounts to achieve sales goals.
• Provide price quotes and refer pricing exceptions for approval as required.
• Assist in qualification of potential customers including credit approval and sales potential.
• Enter and transmit orders via laptop; respond to customer inquiries.
• Share information with team to enhance profitability.
• Attend training meetings to improve product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Perform administrative duties such as item set-ups, reviewing sales reports, and processing credits.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between company and customers, making presentations and sales of disposable products, cleaning chemicals and ancillary cleaning items to both new and existing end users within a defined territory.
• Develop new accounts, penetrate existing accounts to achieve sales goals within the assigned territory.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers, based on business needs and goals.
• Provide customers with price quotes and refer pricing exceptions below established guidelines for approval as required.
• Assist in the qualification of potential customers including credit approval and sales potential.
• Assist in the resolution of customer service complaints, credit and delivery problems.
• Enter and transmit orders via a lap-top computer for office processing.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to company's product lines.
• Share information with other company team members to enhance profitability.
• Attend training meetings to enhance product knowledge, presentation skills and direct selling techniques.
• Perform administrative duties such as new item set-ups, reviewing sales/backorder reports, and processing credit pickups.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
