In our Sales Department, you will own part of the business by helping build relationships with customers and representing the company in the construction industry. We seek an influencer with a sincere appreciation for people who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can engage individuals

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing with an emphasis on territory management.
• 1-2 years working in the building materials industry or a similar industry preferred.
• High School Diploma and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily sales operations of a building materials distribution center.
• Work with customers and co-workers to build solid relationships based on trust and competence.
• Able to handle detailed work quickly and correctly.
• Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going on simultaneously.
• Utilize the DMSi software Agility for order entry, purchasing entry and customer information.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge through training and ongoing learning.
• Follow up all quotes and handle customer service claims in a timely manner.
• Able to understand customers’ individual needs and goals and build long-term relationships.
• Able to initiate projects and processes beyond established practices when directed.
• Identify and maintain customer opportunities, develop strategies for closing those opportunities.

Requirements
