Job summary

Weekes Forest Products, Inc, a leading distributor of building materials, is seeking a Sales Support Associate to help run daily sales operations in our distribution center. You will work with customers and teammates to build trusted relationships, handle quotes, and ensure accurate order entry.

The role requires inside sales and customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• Experience inside sales, customer service and/or marketing disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inside sales, customer service and/or marketing.
• Industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support the daily sales operations of a building materials distribution center.
• Build solid relationships with customers and co-workers based on trust and competence.
• Handle detailed work quickly and correctly.
• Maintain customer pricing records and accurate order entry.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Support the daily sales operations of a building materials distribution center.
• Work with customers and co-workers to build solid relationships based on trust and competence.
• Able to handle detailed work quickly and correctly.
• Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going simultaneously.
• Utilize the DMSi software Agility, for order entry, purchasing entry, and customer information.
• Follow established guidelines, structure, and policies, while working with and for others
• Maintain customer pricing records.
• Accurate order entry
• Follow up all quotes and handle customer service claims in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
