CEC Motor & Utility Services LLC in New York is seeking an Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager. The role blends inside and outside work, building independent and team-driven sales, servicing a territory of nearby counties with no long-distance travel. A basic knowledge of motors and pumps is helpful, and training is provided.

Compensation includes base salary plus quarterly commission. You will develop client relationships, identify prospects, follow up on leads, and conduct daily calls

Job Summary:

The Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager daily routine will vary from day to day and will include work inside and outside of the office. The position includes working independently as well as in a team environment. Sales are limited to surrounding counties, so no long-distance travel is required. A basic knowledge of motors and pumps is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The pay will be a base salary plus a quarterly commission.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and at least two (2) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Willingness to learn the industry and services offered by our company.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of sales experience
• Associate’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with municipal contracts.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Must be able to regularly move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds

Work Environment:

• Temperature-controlled office and local travel.

Reporting Relationships

• The Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager reports to the C.O.O.

Hours

• Monday - Friday (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
