Uniti-e19d5f6c is seeking an OSP Construction Inspector I/II to oversee outside plant telecom construction and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across sites.

You will review prints with engineers, conduct site walks, coordinate with contractors and officials, document progress, and travel 50-80% to various sites.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Formación

• College degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to discern colors on work prints.
• High School Diploma or GED is acceptable with related experience.
• Strong understanding of OSP engineering prints and the ability to interpret and correct them.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct detailed site walks and identify construction challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with contractors and engineers to review and correct work prints.
• Conduct pre-construction site walks with contractors to assess constructability.
• Identify potential issues and provide recommendations to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations per permit documents.
• Oversee OSP construction projects from delivery to completion.
• Monitor project progress and address issues that arise during construction.
• Review permits and check prints for requirements affecting the project.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Prepare and submit regular status reports, including delays or issues.
• Maintain changes and ensure timely updates to documentation.
• Travel to construction sites 50-80%.
