Job summary

Uniti Group is seeking an OSP Construction Inspector I/II to oversee outside plant telecom infrastructure construction and maintenance. You will collaborate with contractors, engineers, and officials to ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSP prints and the ability to interpret and correct them, along with travel 50–80% to different construction locations. A 4+ year track record in related engineering is a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years professional level experience or 4+ years in related engineering/technical roles.
• Ability to interpret and correct OSP engineering prints.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review and inspect outside plant construction for compliance with permits and specs.
• Conduct pre-construction site walks with contractors to assess constructability.
• Identify issues and provide recommendations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare reports and maintain project documentation; travel 50–80% to sites.
