Job summary

Tobacco Road Golf Club in Sanford, NC is seeking an Outside Operations Attendant to support course operations and guest service. You will help with bag handling, club cleaning, basic education of players, and start-of-play coordination on busy days.

The role requires reliability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment at a Troon-managed property. A standing schedule and regular attendance are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or hospitality settings preferred.
• Ability to operate a golf cart safely.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with upkeep of Great Shots.
• Provides courteous service to guests with bag handling and club cleaning.
• Educates players regarding the game.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Operate a golf cart daily.
• Maintain practice facility per SOP.
• Clean and restock golf carts between/after rounds.
• Maintain records of golfers renting clubs.
• Assist with renting clubs and clean returned clubs.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Outside Operations Attendant:

• Assists with the overall upkeep of Great Shots.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Assists in educating players regarding the game.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Be able to operate a golf cart on a daily basis.
• Pick and maintain the practice facility in accordance with the standard operating procedure.
• Clean and restock golf carts between and after rounds.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Outside Operations Attendant:

• One month related experience or training.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Minimum of 2 days a week required for the schedule with flexibility on the days of the week.
