Job summary

Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club in Surprise, AZ is seeking a full-time Outside Services Attendant to support the clubhouse, bag handling, and cart operations. You will help set up tournaments, maintain the cart area, and ensure guests receive courteous service on the course.

This role supports Troon Golf’s standards and operates in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of customer service experience, with regular attendance

Responsibilities

• Assist with the upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assist in setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide courteous service with bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain the cart staging area, podium and bag drop area.
• Prepare golf carts for play according to Troon Golf standards.
• Educate players on course policy, cart policy and speed of play.
• Assist players by changing spikes if needed.
• Perform range maintenance and manage ball inventory throughout the day.
• Direct start of play when necessary.
• Maintain records of golfers renting clubs.
• Service customers renting clubs and clean rental clubs on return.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Clean golfers' clubs after play.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club, located in Surprise, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Outside Service Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. Key Responsibilities of the Outside Services Attendant:

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
• Performs range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Outside Services Attendant:

• HighSchool Diploma or GED; andsix months to a year customer serviceexperience or training.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
