Job summary

SYSCO is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join its outside sales team. The role focuses on promoting Sysco products, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and achieving sales and profit goals across a defined territory.

The position may require non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to serve customers effectively and meet needs. A strong background in restaurant/hospitality sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as stated.
• 3+ years in Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales or Sysco internship.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and objectives within territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs.
