Job summary

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking an Outreach Specialist for the Educational Talent Search program (ETS) within TRIO Programs-0962 in Lincoln, NE. Regular travel across five service areas is required, with intensified recruitment during peak cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of one year experience working with youth in educational, social-services, or community settings, with outreach experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across service areas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the spokesperson for ETS in the community.
• Build relationships with middle school and high school counselors, teachers, and staff.
• Meet with prospective students and families, answer questions and assist with the application process.
• Conduct parent and community outreach, including information sessions and presentations.
