Job summary

Breaking Ground is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to manage street outreach teams and ensure field coverage while applying Housing First and Harm Reduction strategies. The role emphasizes supervision, team development, and coordinated responses to community needs in the New York area.

The position requires LMSW licensure and strong collaboration with DHS and community partners. A 35-hour work week with on-call duties is expected, and bilingual Spanish/English abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

Must hold NY LMSW license and be able to supervise teams.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to obtain 9.58 credential within 3 months.
Experience with Housing First and harm reduction.
Excellent communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Strong scheduling and task management.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise street outreach teams including Housing Advocates and a Team Leader II.
Provide regular supervision meetings for direct reports.
Implement supervisory strategies to ensure staff support and oversight.
Create shift schedules to ensure continual field coverage.
