Job summary

ProMedica is seeking an Outreach Phlebotomist to perform routine and special blood specimen collection for patients of all ages. You are a resource for your team and maintain protocols to create a clean, calm and safe environment for patients.

This full-time, dayshift role supports the Laboratory at the Health and Wellness Center in Ohio, with a 38-hour work week and an emphasis on accuracy, patient comfort, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A diploma from an accredited phlebotomy training institute OR 6 months phlebotomy experience.
• 6 months' experience in high-volume phlebotomy environment; or successful completion of an academic program which included substantial, practical clinical phlebotomy experience (EX: 3+ week clinical student rotation program in a hospital setting or clinical student rotation with 100 successful venipunctures completed)
• Preferred: Professional registration: PBT(ASCP)
