Under the supervision of the Managing Director of Workforce Sectoral programs position, the Outreach Manager is responsible for supporting the Workforce Department Sectoral programs in achieving outreach and enrollment goals for all programs including CNH (Track 1 & 2), CNBS, CWE (JtBo). The Outreach Manager will supervise the Outreach Specialist and manage a broad range of outreach initiatives and activities.
Salary range for this role will be $45,000 to $50,000 based on education, training and experience.
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED with at least three years of demonstrated experience working with youth and young adults in workforce, community and school-basedsettings. Bachelor’s Degree or College credits strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal, public speaking and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders including program participants, staff, funders and program partners.Strong critical thinking, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills are required.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Self-directed and able to take initiative. Ability to handle matters of confidentiality with utmost tact and diplomacy.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as outreach tables, chairs and boxes of outreach materials. Employee will occasionally be required to attend outdoor events.
