Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand written information.

• Knowledge of or ability to learn multiple information systems (Centricity, LastWord, Horizon, Epic).

Responsibilities

• Register patients and enter orders into Horizon per protocol.
• Perform registration and order entry for tests.
• Assist Medicare patients with ABN explanations and completion as needed.
• Answer phones courteously and identify oneself.
• Maintain department logs and documentation.
• Review lab requisitions for completeness.
• Resolve problems and coordinate with the team.
• Open/close service center and prepare for daily activity.
• Facilitate billing by ensuring required information is complete.
