Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Outpatient Wound Care. This full-time, daytime role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensed to practice in North Carolina.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care within the RN scope of practice and document care in the EHR.
• Assist in coordinating wound care patients and day-to-day wound care program operations.
• Maintain competencies, continuing education, and certifications relevant to the position.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and safety initiatives.
• Assess wound care patients and plan discharge needs in collaboration with the care team.
