Job summary

Healogics is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Wound Care Center, providing direct patient care and coordinating intake and discharge processes. The role may include Case Manager duties for a defined patient group and collaboration with physicians to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN, an active RN license in Texas, and has a background in wound care or related certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Wound care certification preferred; wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and handles intake and discharge processes for the Wound Care Center.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after training.
• May serve as Case Manager for a group of patients; assess and document care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education.
• Performs HBO related duties after hyperbaric training.
• Collaborates with Wound Care Center Providers, Program Director and Medical Director.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe).
• Performs other duties as required.
