Carilion Clinic in Hillsville, VA is seeking an Outpatient Urology RN to provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, coordinating care with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and high quality outcomes.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, document in the EMR, and participate in performance improvement and education activities. This is a full-time day shift role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• AHA BLS‑HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by area.
• Keyboarding skills and computer literacy; EMR experience.
• Career Advancement Program (CAP) eligibility based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in ambulatory/outpatient settings.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; document care in EMR.

What We Require

Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing required.

Experience: None.

• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
• Life Support: AHA BLS‑HCP required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.
• Other Minimum Qualifications: Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records.
• Career Advancement Program: RNs are eligible to participate in the Career Advancement Program (CAP) to attain various levels of advancement based on performance criteria.

Compensation Range

$27.70 - $41.55 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
