Carilion Clinic is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our outpatient Urology team in Roanoke, Virginia. This role provides comprehensive evaluation and management for patients with a range of urologic conditions in a collaborative setting.

The APP will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure high-quality patient care in a daytime clinic.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Virginia licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
• Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Urology or surgical specialty experience preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and manage new and established patients in the outpatient Urology clinic.
• Obtain comprehensive medical histories, perform physical examinations, and assess patient symptoms.
• Develop treatment recommendations and management plans for a variety of urologic conditions.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing and imaging results.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with urologists and other members of the healthcare team to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support Carilion Clinic's commitment to exceptional patient care.
