Carilion Clinic seeks a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our outpatient Urology team in Roanoke, VA. The APP will provide comprehensive assessment and management of new and established patients in a day-shift outpatient setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff to develop individualized plans, order tests, educate patients, and contribute to quality improvement. Prior experience in urology is preferred but not required.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Virginia licensure (or eligibility).
• Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Urology or surgical specialty experience is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and manage outpatient Urology patients.
• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop treatment recommendations and management plans.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and imaging results.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, options, medications, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with urologists and the care team to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
