• Collects patient liability and explains payment options; sets up payment arrangements.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains required notifications and authorizations.
• Posts payments and issues receipts in the system; maintains accurate records.
• Communicates professionally with physicians, departments, and patients; documents interactions.
