Job summary

River Vista Behavioral Health is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to support the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. The role includes administrative duties, utilization review, assessment, and discharge planning, along with group/individual therapy and case management.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Social Work or related field and CA licensure (LCSW/LMFT/ACSW/AMFT) with at least two years in a psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or clinical-related mental health field is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.
• Must possess licensure in the State of CA as an LCSW, LMFT, or ACSW or AMFT.
• CPR certification and CPI training may be required; CPI training may be obtained during new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to PHP and IOP program operations including administrative tasks, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, and therapy.
• Conduct group and individual therapy, case management, and ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate communication between staff, physicians, patients, families, and other departments.
• Monitor records, ensure documentation accuracy, and support program quality management.
