Job summary

University Behavioral Health of Denton seeks an Outpatient Therapist to support Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. The role includes administration, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group and individual therapy, and case management in a clinical hospital setting.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related mental health field, at least two years in a psychiatric facility, and Texas licensure (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC-Associate).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a clinical mental health field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility.
• Texas license: LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC-Associate.
• CPR and HWC training; may be obtained during new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the process for determining and maintaining accurate legal processes for patients.
• Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit.
• Process unusual occurrence reports and corrective plans when needed.
