Job summary

Aurora Charter Oak Hospital is seeking an Adolescent Outpatient Therapist to join the IOP/PHP department on a full-time PM shift. The role involves delivering individual, group, and family therapies and contributing to treatment planning and discharge planning.

Candidates should hold a Master's in a relevant field and state licensure registration with BBS. The position offers growth within a long-standing campus near Covina, CA with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field required.
• BBS Registration (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, AMFT, ASW, or APCC) required.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider card upon hire.
• Therapeutic Options training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor.
• Associate license such as ASW, APCC with supervision for licensure hours offered.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapies using various professional treatment modalities.
• Participates in the formulation of patient's treatment plans, goals and objectives.
• Develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for the patient by utilizing treatment team and written chart information to determine the patient's aftercare needs.
• Accesses family or community resources such as group homes, or private mental health practitioners to meet patients' aftercare needs.
• Assist with aftercare planning and coordination within the treatment team.

Education

Pay ranges:

BBS Registration $30.00-$36.00

BBS License $36.00-$43.00
