Job summary

Gulfport Behavioral Health System in Gulfport, MS seeks an Outpatient Program Therapist to deliver and coordinate services for adult and adolescent IOP/PHP patients within the hospital setting.

You will conduct group and family therapies, perform case management, create treatment plans, participate in rounds with clinical staff, discharge planning and follow-up, and assist with resource development for patient care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• Preferably a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility or outpatient setting, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment skills.
• License: LCSW, LMSW or LPC license to practice in the State of Mississippi preferred.
• CPR certification and CPI certification (management of aggressive behavior training) within 90 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
