Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, KY seeks an Outpatient Therapist Float & Assessments to join our team. This full-time day shift role provides therapy for patients across ages in a freestanding psychiatric hospital setting within the Ridge system.

Responsibilities include group and family treatment, multidisciplinary coordination, psychosocial assessments, and developing targeted groups to improve outcomes. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or mental health field is required.
• LCSW, LPCC, LMFT or related licensure is required; crisis intervention training offered on hire.
• CPR training is required and offered on hire.
• 1–2 years of mental health experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with case management and care coordination.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of acute psychological disorders and DSM concepts.
• Familiarity with community follow-up resources.
• Ability to conduct individual and family sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and cross-train for age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental health or substance use diagnoses.
• Coordinate treatment through planning, team process, and review.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Develop and implement groups to enhance treatment.
