Job summary

Universal Health Services in Lexington, KY seeks an Outpatient Therapist Float & Assessments to provide group and family therapy to patients with mental health and substance use diagnoses. This full-time role involves coordinating treatment plans and conducting psychosocial assessments in a busy psychiatric setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in social work or related field, licensure (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT), and crisis intervention training. CPR is also required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or other mental health field required.
• Certification/licensure in social work or mental health field (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).
• Crisis intervention training is required and is offered upon hire.
• CPR is required and offered upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental and substance abuse diagnoses.
• Coordinate treatment through treatment planning, the treatment team process, and utilization and review.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Assess, develop, and implement groups to enhance treatment of patients.
