Washburn Center is seeking a full-time Outpatient Therapist at our West Edina office to provide mental health assessment and treatment for children and families.
Responsibilities include diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, and care coordination with other providers. Independent licensure is preferred, with experience in pediatric mental health and a commitment to culturally responsive care.

Our compassionate, experienced therapists support children and their families through challenging times by providing diagnostic assessments, collaborative treatment planning, and individual and family therapy to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, family transitions, and relationship difficulties. Our approach focuses on building on each child and family’s strengths while helping them develop the skills needed to be successful at home, in school, and in the community.
As an outpatient mental health clinician, your focus will be on providing assessment and therapeutic services for children, teens, and their families in a clinic-based setting. You will actively collaborate with caregivers and, when appropriate, other providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. You will draw upon client-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approaches.
As a successful candidate, you should hold independent licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LP, or LMFT) or be working towards licensure in one of those areas and be able to demonstrate your skills in children’s mental health diagnostic assessment and treatment.
