Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA is seeking an Outpatient Therapist for our IOP/PHP department. The role involves providing individual, group, and family therapies, contributing to treatment plans, and coordinating discharge planning for aftercare needs.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field and current BBS Registration (LMFT/LCSW/LPC/AMFT/ASW/APCC).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
• BBS Registration (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, AMFT, ASW, or APCC) required.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider.
• Therapeutic Options training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor.
• If you currently have an Associate license such as ASW, APCC we offer clinical supervision for BBS hour accrual.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapies using various professional treatment modalities.
• Participates in the formulation of patient's treatment plans, goals and objectives.
• Develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for the patient by utilizing treatment team and written chart information to determine the patient's aftercare needs.
• Accesses family or community resources such as group homes or private mental health practitioners to meet patients' aftercare needs.
