Job summary

Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA is seeking an Outpatient Therapist for our IOP/PHP program on an 8-hour shift, Tuesday through Saturday starting at 8am.

You will provide individual, group, and family therapies, contribute to treatment planning and aftercare coordination, and support patient wellness. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, BBS registration, current BLS, and Therapeutic Options training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
• BBS Registration (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, AMFT, ASW, or APCC) required.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider card upon hire.
• Therapeutic Options™ training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care.
• If you have an Associate license such as ASW, APCC, supervision is offered for BBS licensure hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapies using various professional treatment modalities.
• Participates in formulation of patient’s treatment goals and objectives.
• Develops and coordinates discharge plans based on treatment team and chart information.
• Coordinates aftercare resources with family or community services to meet patients’ needs.

BBS Registration $30.00-$36.00

BBS License $36.00-$43.00

Responsibilities include:

• Provides individual, group, and family therapies using various professional treatment modalities.
• Participates in the formulation of patient's treatment plans, goals and objectives
• Develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for the patient by utilizing treatment team and written chart information to determine the patient's aftercare needs.
• Accesses by phone or written correspondence family or community resources such as group homes, or private mental health practitioners to meet patients' aftercare needs.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field required
• BBS Registration (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, AMFT, ASW, or APCC) required
• Current BLS for healthcare provider card upon hire
• Therapeutic Options™ training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor
• If you currently have an Associate license such as ASW, APCC We offer clinical supervision for BBS hour accrual towards licensure
