Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Georgia CIT license.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Ability to counsel 50-60 patients monthly with documentation.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with 12 Core Functions of Counseling
• Provide individual and group counseling; direct service hours and coordinate services
• Completes Bio-psychosocial assessment
• Conducts initial assessment and eligibility interviews
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans
• Facilitates and reviews initial treatment plans with each patient
• Maintains accurate clinical records per Federal/State regulations for NTP clinics
• Other duties as determined by supervisor
