Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
• CFY accepted/CFY completion during first year may be acceptable.
• Current SLP license and BLS/CPR strongly preferred or required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate diverse patient types and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform initial evaluations and follow guidelines for treatment planning.
• Review medical records and coordinate with attending physicians.
• Set functional, realistic goals and involve patient/family in planning.
• Re-evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary services to optimize outcomes.
• Document thoroughly and timely (initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries).
• Provide patient education and utilize interpreters or support staff when needed.
• Possess ability to educate staff, supervise students, and assist with program development and marketing as necessary.
