Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide outpatient services and perform barium swallow studies as part of the role. The position requires evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties, on a casual/PRN schedule with hours 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• SLP license required; CFY acceptable.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; BLS certification within 3 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a wide variety of patient types and identify dysfunction to guide treatment.
• Develop and follow treatment plans with realistic goals.
• Document progress and communicate with physicians.
• Provide patient education and supervise students.
• Coordinate treatments with interdisciplinary services.
