Job summary

Bryan College Of Health Sciences is seeking a registered nurse leader to assist in managing the Scheduling Center within our hospital setting. The role requires Nebraska RN licensure, 3 years acute care experience, and scheduling familiarity.

Responsibilities include supervising scheduling processes, aligning resources with demand, and guiding staff through HIPAA compliance and patient service excellence. Prior personnel management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from Nebraska or approved compact state per Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
• Minimum 3 years acute care clinical experience in a hospital environment.
• Prior medical procedure scheduling experience required.
• BSN degree preferred; prior personnel management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Scheduling Center processes, including scheduling of procedures and managing work queues.
• Ensures resources align with work volumes and coordinates PRN schedules and phone coverage.
• Trains new staff and maintains department procedures for scheduling functions.
• Coaches staff on HIPAA compliance, patient experience and problem solving to achieve first-call resolution.
