Job summary

ChristianaCare's Wilmington Adult Medicine in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. You will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within a fast-paced, academic practice that values teaching and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved or NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
• RN licensure or eligible for licensure in DE, MD or PA depending on location of employment.
• Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse; physician office experience is preferred.
• BSN preferred; ADN with agreement to complete BSN within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care across pediatric to geriatric populations in virtual and in-person settings.
• Deliver services such as wellness visits, care management, point-of-care testing, and triaging in collaboration with providers.
• Serve as a liaison among patients, providers, and staff; coordinate workflow and respond to urgent situations.
• Support staff development through training and mentorship; participate in quality and compliance initiatives; contribute to process improvement.

Education

Nursing degree (BSN) preferred; ADN with agreement to complete BSN
