Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an entry-level Outpatient RN CAP 1 to join the dialysis team. You’ll provide patient care during hemodialysis with on-the-job training and supervision.

As a member of the ESKD care team, you will assess patients, document care, educate families, and contribute to quality improvement while pursuing CAP requirements to advance your nephrology nursing career.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient data during dialysis and adjust the treatment plan.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Provide safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Assist with staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure correct laboratory collection, processing and documentation.
