Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and active state licensure.
• Current CPR BLS certification and ability to meet state practice requirements.
• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential nursing duties under supervision in dialysis care.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Provides patient/family education on care and treatment options.
• Delivers safe dialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff.
• Administers medications per protocol and documents results.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
• Leads and mentors staff as assigned; supports training.
• Manages lab collection, processing, and scheduling of specimens.
• Contributes to care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
